#1 All Time Best Keyboards in Indie Rock
“Andrew Lloyd Webber meets Muse. [Fernando] wonderfully mixes musical medody and rock wailing. [He] makes Muse look like brainless thugs after taking orchestral rock to another level. The piano is reminiscent of a West End Musical rehearsal, while the vocals, half spoken in parts, wailing in others, are melodic rock, and also slightly Faithless. The time signature changes show that this is obviosly a well trained musician.”
"Piano-propelled soul searching on uppers. A bold, expressive attempt to reclaim those old black and white keys for some newer-wave angst. Frantic fingers push a strong vocal along to an intoxicating climax. Should I go now? asks the singer. The answer is no - stick around and show us some more please.
“That’s a tasty burger. There's nothing more satisfying than coming across a really interesting arrangement, and this track is so cleverly put together it makes me smile... and then sigh in a 'God I wish I could write a song like that' kind of way. The piano playing is wonderful and the quirky changes in feel, mood and pace are superb. I'm loving the vocal effect, both the lead vocal and the background vocals. This is definitely a song I'll enjoy playing again. The nasty, biting effect at the end opens the way perfectly for the sudden ending. Great track!”
“Inventive tune. This track ventures into deep waters that only pioneers like Tom Waits venture into. Well recorded. Very imaginative and different.”
